For example I can move the cursor with the pen and the right-click button works. Hope it helps people in some way to fix any problems associated with the above gadgets and apps.I'm running Ubuntu 14.04 and my HUION h610 tablet works sort of. (As an author of children's books on Kindle, I decided to try my hand at adding more sophisticated artwork to my books). Everything working well, although my Pen Tablet can be temperamental, but I'm still feeling frustrated by the amount of artwork I have lost. Until then, it can get lost! Where am I today? You may ask. I will be happy to download Windows 8.1, but only when Serif sort out a fix for the Huion Pen Tablet. Also, Widows are trying to download its 8.1 version, once again! I am doing everything in my power to stop it, but I know that I have no choice after a certain amount of time has passed. A word or two of caution: I lost all of my settings, downloads, and registrations for software! I have installed everything back to how it was, but it took a while. My Pen Tablet works fine, although it does have its funny moments when it will not comply. The only recourse left, I thought, was to revert my Notebook back to its original state, and I did. I was also experiencing problems trying to connect to the internet at this time, so you can imagine my frustration.

(Just a little side-note: I had to download a couple of things from the Acer website, sound-card driver being one, because Windows 8.1 didn't install the latest version onto my computer!) The problem is that once installed you can not go back to Windows 8. Not by choice as it was forced upon me when the stupid download took over my computer! I researched a little about this upgrade, and found that I wasn't the only one having problems. I realized, halfway through this list of problems, that I had also upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1. By the way, I have tried all of their previous fixes and not one of them helped in my case. Therefore, they are not categorized as being compatible with this art program! Apparently, like me, many people found this out after buying the damn Pen Tablet! According to Serif, they are due to undergo compatibility checks, and will put up fixes for the product on the HELP pages.

I started to dig deeper into Serif Draw Plus x 6 and found that they have not yet tested Huion Pen Tablets. They told me to try the things that I had already tried. I got in touch with Serif but, as Huion, they were no use at all. I had to uninstall and re-install Serif three times. Until, that is, Serif Draw Plus x 6 started to crash again. Very frustrating! I was happy when the Pen turned up just two weeks later, and seemed to be working like a dream. Problem was, the rechargeable one that I wanted to try came from China, and would take a month to get here. Anyway, the sellers from eBay were great and gave me £10.00 off the price of another pen, leaving me to pay the outstanding £5.00. I know this is still a very good price to pay for a Pen Tablet (the best ones cost hundreds of pounds) but I'm new to Pen Tablets, and only wanted to see if they were for me.
Now, I bought this Pen Tablet for £39.99 brand new, and to buy a new pen would cost another £15.00. I got in touch with the sellers at eBay and explained the problem. After much research, I found that a lot of the time the pens are faulty with this brand of Pen Tablet. They loaded onto my Notebook fine, but still the damn thing would not work.

Yes, I use a Notebook that has no CD drive! So, I downloaded the Pen Tablet Drivers from Huion's website as they advised, but still not working. I take the blame for ordering a gadget that needed a CD drive. I got in touch with Huion through Facebook, but to be honest they didn't help at all. So, I bought the Huion H610 Pen Tablet last month, and what a pain in the backside that turned out to be.
