Rather than releasing a vast number of Plug-Ins Sonnox instead concentrated on doing a few things really well. Even scientific and forensics projects have benefitted from the sonic surgery characteristic of an Oxford product. Oxford Plug-Ins are used in an extraordinary range of live and recorded applications throughout the music, broadcast, film and games sectors. They also include some innovative solutions not seen before in the restoration field, the intention being to enable quick and accurate repair of a variety of spoiled recordings. A great deal of time has been put into making the Sonnox Restore suite as intuitive as possible in terms of providing excellent visual and graphical feedback. The tools are not just for restoring old material, but also for removing the clicks, pops, buzzes and background noises that can sometimes accidentally occur in new recordings. The Sonnox Restore suite is - DeClicker, DeBuzzer & DeNoiser - a collection of three plug-ins designed to clean the sound of digital audio recordings that are damaged by So we built the Exclude Box to further refine the number of repaired events, and also Dialogue Mode for independent control over speech in programme.
